Sarawak Energy Domestic Customers to Receive 25% Electricity Bill Discount

All Sarawak Energy domestic tariff customers will enjoy a 25% electricity bill discount following the recent announcement by the Premier of Sarawak, The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, on 16 April 2026. This initiative aims to provide immediate financial relief to around 714,000 domestic tariff customers across Sarawak.

The discount covers electricity consumption from April to December 2026 and will be reflected in each month's electricity bill. It will be applied automatically, with no registration or application required. However, for the April 2026 bill, the discount will only be reflected in the June 2026 bill.

Customers who receive estimated electricity bills are encouraged to contact Sarawak Energy to ensure the discount accurately reflects actual consumption. To facilitate adjustments, customers can submit supporting documents, such as photographs of the estimated bill and current meter readings, through the following channels:

Once verified, billing amounts will be adjusted to ensure the applicable discount is based on actual electricity usage.
