EXTENSION OF ELECTRICITY DISCOUNTS FOR SARAWAK ENERGY ACCOUNT HOLDERS UNTIL JUNE 2022
Electricity discounts for Sarawak Energy’s account holders under the “Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang 8.0” as announced by the Sarawak Government have been extended up to June 2022.
Under Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang 8.0, about 720,000 account holders from domestic, commercial and industrial sectors will continue to receive discounts of between 5 to 25 percent on their electricity bills until 30 June 2022.
A dedicated task force set up to normalise bills will continue to work over the period and beyond to ensure that every account holders from the eligible categories receive their relevant discounts.
