Sarawak Energy remains committed to developing a competent and capable workforce in Sarawak by enhancing the technical skills and knowledge of potential employees and contractors to help keep the lights on for Sarawak.

As part of this commitment, we continue to invest in nurturing young minds through key initiatives such as the Sarawak Energy-UNITEN Diploma Programme, which offers a comprehensive and fit-for-purpose learning experience at one of Malaysia’s top universities.

Under the Diploma Programme, students will receive certain allowances and resources to ensure a positive and enabling learning experience.

If you are a Sarawakian student who meets the following criteria, you are invited to apply for the Diploma Programme:

• Aged between 18 and 21 years old
• SPM, STPM, UEC or SKM leaver
• SPM and UEC candidates must have a minimum of three credits: Mathematics, a Science/Technical/Engineering subject, and one other subject, as well as at least a Grade E in English.
• STPM candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and must have passed SPM with at least a Grade E in Mathematics, a Science/Technical/Engineering subject, one other subject and English.
• SPM students for the year 2025 may also apply using their latest trial examination results
